The Franklin Police Department responded to 12 complaints over the past 24 hours and made the following arrests:
Gyasi Valier, 32, of Mitchell St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on June 29, 2023, at 1:45 AM, on the charges of possession of schedule I narcotics – 2 counts, vehicle license required, security required, driver must be licensed, registration certificate, resisting an officer, and possession of a firearm by person convicted of certain felonies. Valier was booked, processed, and held with no bond set at the time of press release.
Landon Meyerholtz, 19, of Palfrey St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on June 29, 2023, at 1:45 AM, on the charge of possession of schedule I narcotics. Meyerholtz was booked, processed, and released to appear in Third Ward City Court.
Irving Phillips, 38, of Lee Charles St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on June 29, 2023, at 9:49 AM, on the charges of violation of protective order and flight from an officer. Phillips was booked, processed, and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Jackie Robertson, 60, of Jones Rd., Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on June 29, 2023, at 11:30 AM, on the charge of theft. Robertson was booked, processed, and held with no bond set at the time of press release.
Toni Lanclos, 68, of Ash St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on June 29, 2023, at 1:21 PM, on a warrant for Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charge of improper lane usage. Lanclos was booked, processed, and released on a $250.00 bond.
