The Franklin Police Department responded to 30 complaints over the past holiday weekend and made the following arrests:
Kient Martin, 32, of Myra St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on June 18, 2022, at 1:36 AM, on the charge of domestic abuse battery. Martin was booked, processed, and released on a $2,500.00 bond.
Susan Boyd, 58, of Gumpoint Ln., Franklin, LA, was arrested on June 18, 2022, at 10:07 AM, on a warrant dated June 15, 2022, for theft and simple criminal damage to property. Boyd was booked, processed, and released to appear in Third Ward City Court.
Ricky Webster, 61, of Third St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on June 19, 2022, at 2:54 PM, on the charges of criminal trespassing, theft, remaining where forbidden, simple assault, and contraband in a penal institution. Webster was booked, processed, and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
