The Franklin Police Department responded to 22 complaints over the past weekend and made the following arrests:
Lynn Lovell, Jr., 50, of Kirk St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on April 29, 2023, at 3:10 PM, on the charges of violation of protective order and possession of schedule II narcotics. Lovell was additionally arrested on a warrant for parole violation. Lovell was booked, processed, and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Rebecca Causer, 50, of Robert St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on April 29, 2023, at 7:52 PM, on the charge of driving under the influence. Causer was booked, processed, and held on a $2,500.00 bond.
Michael Walter, 44, of South St., Opelousas, LA, was arrested on April 29, 2023, at 11:47 PM, on the charge of driving while intoxicated. Walter was booked, processed, and released on a $2,500.00 bond.
