The Franklin Police Department responded to 16 complaints over the past weekend and made the following arrests:
Alexis Cole, 25, of Bayouside Dr., Chauvin, LA, was arrested on April 5, 2024, at 4:38 PM, on warrants for Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on the charges of forgery, possession of schedule II narcotics, and identity theft. Cole was booked, processed, and released to appear in 32nd Judicial District Court.
Deon Turner, 40, of Sanders St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on April 6, 2024, at 2:14 AM, on a warrant dated September 28, 2022, for illegal possession of stolen things and resisting an officer by giving false information. Turner was additionally arrested on a warrant for 16th Judicial District Court for failure to appear on the charges of operating a vehicle while license is suspended and failure to stop at stop sign. Turner was booked, processed, and released on a $911.00 bond.
Jasmiera Jack, 24, of Seventh St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on April 7, 2024, at 3:38 PM, on the charge of simple battery of the infirm. Jack was booked, processed, and held with no bond set at the time of press release.
