The Franklin Police Department responded to 33 complaints over the past weekend and made the following arrests:
Mar’Keisha Hamilton, 28, of Oneal Chube St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on March 31, 2023, at 4:23 PM, on a Third Ward City Court warrant for failure to appear on the charges of speeding, no driver’s license, and no insurance and on warrants for Fort Bend Sheriff’s Office on the charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and criminal mischief. Hamilton was additionally charged with simple escape. Hamilton was booked, processed, and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Ivory Fine, 34, of Ninth St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on March 31, 2023, at 7:30 PM, on the charges of possession of schedule I-Marijuana, tail lamps, driving under suspension, and on a warrant dated January 06, 2023, for theft. Fine was additionally arrested on a Third Ward City Court warrant for failure to appear on the charges of hit and run, careless operation, failure to report an accident, no insurance, and driving under suspension. Fine was booked, processed, and held with no bond set at time of press release.
Sabrina Darby, 26, of Iberia St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on April 01, 2023, at 5:43 PM, on a warrant dated January 07, 2023, for battery of a dating partner. Darby was booked, processed, and held with no bond set at time of press release.
Donald Dupree, 24, of Sere St., New Iberia, LA, was arrested on April 02, 2023, at 1:52 PM, on the charges of violation of protective order – 2 counts and cyberstalking. Dupree was booked, processed, and held with no bond set at time of press release.
