The Franklin Police Department responded to 20 complaints over the past weekend and made the following arrests:
Justin Bourgeois, 50, of Cane Rd., Franklin, LA, was arrested on April 15, 2023, at 7:20 AM, on the charge of aggravated battery. Bourgeois was booked, processed, and released to appear in court.
Carl Dupas, 59, of Iberia St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on April 16, 2023, at 13:43 PM, on the charges of prohibited acts-schedule II, and drug paraphernalia. Dupas was additionally arrested on a Third Ward City Court warrant for failure to appear on the charges of criminal mischief and resisting arrest. Dupas was booked, processed and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center
