The Franklin Police Department responded to 17 complaints over the past weekend and made the following arrests:
Grace LeBlanc, 23, of Collie St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on March 10, 2023, at 6:49 AM, on a warrant dated March 3, 2023, for illegal possession of schedule II narcotics – 5 counts, and on a warrant for Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office for prohibited acts: all schedules – 5 counts. LeBlanc was booked, processed, and transported to the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Clayborn Kiffe, 43, of Bodin Dr., Franklin, LA, was arrested on March 10, 2023, at 2:34 PM, on a warrant dated February 16, 2023, for domestic abuse battery with child endangerment – 2 counts. Kiffe was additionally arrested on the charge of resisting an officer – 2 counts. Kiffe was booked, processed, and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Jethro Lambert, 42, of Cedar St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on March 11, 2023, at 9:57 PM, on a warrant for 16th Judicial District Court for failure to appear on the charge of simple burglary and a warrant for probation violation. Lambert was booked, processed, and held with no bond set at the time of press release.
