The Franklin Police Department responded to 28 complaints over the past
holiday weekend and made the following arrests:
Antonio Campbell, 30, of Augustine Maze Rd., Franklin, LA, was arrested on
November 24, 2021, at 12:19 PM, on a warrant dated May 24, 2017, for
disturbing the peace by fighting and a warrant for 16th Judicial District
Court for failure to appear on the charge of possession of marijuana.
Campbell was booked, processed, and released on a $1,000.00 bond.
Gerald Dupas, 37, of Iberia St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on November 27,
2021, at 8:27 PM, on the charge of battery on a dating partner with
strangulation. Dupas was booked, processed, and transported to the St. Mary
Parish Law Enforcement Center.
