The Franklin Police Department responded to 17 complaints over the past weekend and made the following arrests:
Quincy Roberts, 29, of Labau St., Baldwin, LA, was arrested on October 27, 2023, at 2:54 PM, on a warrant for 16th Judicial District Court for failure to appear on the charge of possession of marijuana. Roberts was booked, processed, and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Shardi Howard, 37, of Manuel Ln., Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on October 27, 2023, at 8:45 PM, on warrants for Jeanerette City Court for failure to appear on the charges of disturbing the peace and speeding. Howard was additionally arrested on the charge of criminal mischief. Howard was booked, processed, and released on a $768.00 bond.
Nicholas Morris, 39, of Oakdale St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on October 28, 2023, at 11:05 PM, on a warrant dated July 2, 2017, for driving under suspension, hit and run, careless operation, and no proof of insurance. Morris was booked, processed, and released on a $2,500.00 bond.
