The Franklin Police Department responded to 12 complaints over the past 24 hours and made the following arrests:
Tyrone Freeman, 52, of Franklin, LA, was arrested on October 26, 2021, at 9:38 AM, on the charge of felony theft and a warrant dated August 29, 2021, for theft and criminal trespassing. Freeman was additionally arrested on 11 warrants for 16th Judicial District Court for failure to appear on multiple charges. Freeman was booked, processed, and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Heather Theriot, 44, of Third St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on October 26, 2021, at 9:56 AM, on a warrant for 16th Judicial District Court for failure to appear on the charges of possession of schedule III narcotics and possession of marijuana. Theriot was booked, processed, and held on a $3,500.00 bond.
