Franklin Arrest Report 1-26-2024

The Franklin Police Department responded to five complaints in the last twenty-four hours and made the following arrests:

Lovana Burrell, aged 35, from West Ibert St., Franklin, LA, was arrested at 10:15 AM on January 25, 2024, for disturbing the peace by using offensive language. Burrell was booked, processed, and released on a $1,000.00 bond.

A juvenile was arrested at 10:15 AM on January 25, 2024, for disturbing the peace by using offensive language and resisting an officer.

Aeril Darby, aged 28, from Seventh St., Franklin, LA, was arrested at 7:17 PM on January 25, 2024, based on a warrant dated September 12, 2020, for hit and run, a warrant dated May 9, 2022, for simple battery, and a warrant dated April 2, 2023, for hit and run driving. Darby was also arrested based on a warrant from the Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charge of theft by shoplifting. Darby was booked, processed, and is currently held with no bond set at the time of this press release.

Simieon Theodile, aged 27, from Copp St., Jeanerette, LA, was arrested at 8:18 PM on January 25, 2024, based on a warrant dated November 29, 2023, for resisting an officer with force or violence (2 counts), a warrant from the Jeanerette Police Department for attempted second-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and a warrant from the 16th Judicial District Court for failure to appear on the charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Theodile was also arrested for resisting an officer by giving false information, illegal carrying of weapons, and possession of a firearm by a person convicted of certain felonies. Theodile was booked, processed, and is currently held with no bond set at the time of this press release.

Milton Green, aged 37, from Willow St., Franklin, LA, was arrested at 10:04 PM on January 25, 2024, on the charges of remaining in a forbidden area and possession of drug paraphernalia. Green was booked, processed, and is currently held on a $2,000.00 bond.
