Chris Baptiste, 56, of Hamilton St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on January 22, 2024, at 9:13 AM, on warrants dated January 10, 2024, for failure to register and notify as a sex offender and failure to register notify as a sex offender pay fee. Baptiste was additionally arrested on a warrant for the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office for failure to register and notify as a sex offender and failure to register notify as a sex offender pay fee. Baptiste was booked, processed, and held with no bond set at the time of press release.
Marlon August, 47, of Theresa St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on January 22, 2024, at 10:23 AM, on the charge of domestic abuse battery with strangulation. August was booked, processed, and held with no bond set at the time of press release.
