The Franklin Police Department responded to 27 complaints over the past holiday weekend and made the following arrests:
Ishia Joseph, 29, of Plantation Village, New Iberia, LA, was arrested on January 13, 2023, at 7:42 PM, on the charges of speeding, no proof of insurance, and failure to carry registration in vehicle. Joseph was booked, processed, and released to appear in Third Ward City Court.
Royal Jackson, 21, of Trowbridge St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on January 14, 2023, at 9:40 PM, on a warrant dated August 13, 2022, for aggravated assault with a firearm. Jackson was booked, processed, and released on a $15,000.00 bond.
Desiree LeBlanc, 31, of Second St., Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on January 15, 2023, at 12:20 AM, on a warrant for Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charge of vicious dog prohibited. LeBlanc was booked, processed, and released on a $358.00 bond.
