Kevin James, 38, of Iberia St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on January 9, 2024, at 3:09 PM, on a warrant dated December 5, 2023, for simple assault. James was additionally arrested on a warrant for Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charge of driving under suspension, and on a warrant for Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office for aggravated battery and violation of protective orders – 3 counts. James was booked, processed, and held with no bond set at the time of press release.
