BATON ROUGE — December 5, 2025 — The Louisiana State Police proudly announced the graduation of Cadet Class 107, as forty-four new Troopers received their badges during a ceremony held this morning at First Baptist Church in Baton Rouge.
The graduating cadets, who represent communities from across Louisiana, have completed an intensive 24-week training program that began on June 22, 2025, at the Louisiana State Police Training Academy. Their instruction included crash investigation, emergency vehicle operations, impaired driving detection, legal updates, fair and impartial policing practices, advanced firearms training, leadership development, and rigorous physical conditioning.
Surrounded by family, friends, and fellow Troopers, each cadet took the oath to serve and protect the citizens of Louisiana as they officially joined the ranks of the Louisiana State Police.
With academy training now finished, the new Troopers will begin a 16-week field training program, where they will work under the guidance of experienced Field Training Officers at their assigned Troops across the state.
