Florence L. Charpentier-Breaux, born on September 19, 1938, and a native of Morgan City, Louisiana passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2022. She was a tribal member of the United Houma Nation.

Florence was a very honest, outspoken woman. She was always there for her children and grandchildren. She loved playing solitaire and dice games. She loved listening to Elvis Presley and dancing. She also loved watching any western shows especially with John Wayne and soap operas.

Florence is survived by her son-in-law, Bret Aucoin (Mercy); twelve grandchildren: Stephen Franks Jr., Troy Franks (Hana), Rick Rink (Tasha), Troy Charpentier (Jodi), Zeby Charpentier III, Dakota Joe Charpentier (Christy), Brandon Aucoin (Carmen), Brandi Bonin (Fred), Trey Aucoin (Kacy), Amber Aucoin, and Ashley Aucoin, Chad Aucoin; numerous great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard H. LaCoste; her mother, Mary Billiot LaCoste; two husbands: Zeby Charpentier Sr. and Barnett Breaux; five children: Zeby Charpentier Jr., Darlene White, Troy Charpentier, Seth Charpentier, and Peggy C. Aucoin; two brothers; and five sisters.

Visitation will be held Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Twin City Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
