First Lady Debra Ann Pierre Williams, 68, a resident of Franklin, LA and native of Charenton, LA, passed away peacefully on Sunday January 17, 2021 at 7:28 PM at Franklin Foundation Hospital in Franklin.
Visitation will be observed on Saturday, January 23, 2021, at the Greater New Hope Baptist Church 104 10th Street, Baldwin, LA 70514 from 8:00 AM until a Musical Tribute beginning at 10:00 AM. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 11:00 AM with her husband, Pastor Ivory Williams, Sr., officiating and Bishop Doreen Francis, co-officiating. (All visitors are asked to adhere to the CDC/local regulations by wearing masks and practicing social distancing). First Lady Williams will be laid to rest following funeral services in the St. John Church Cemetery Charenton, LA.
Memories of First Lady Williams will forever remain in the hearts of her husband, Reverend Ivory Williams, Sr. of Franklin, LA; her children, Ivory (Mariah) Williams Jr. of Franklin, LA, Aaron Paul (Tiffany) Williams and Rashonda (Tellis, Jr.) Matthews both of Sunset, LA; four grandchildren, her siblings, Mrs Paul (Lois P.) Toussaint Jr., Carol Pierre Lockett, Mrs Calvin (Nina P. )Martin all of Charenton and Virginia P. Madison of Baldwin, LA; devoted friends, adopted sister, Diane Collins; dear friends, two brothers-in-law, one sister-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
First Lady Williams was preceded in death by two grandchildren, parents, Three brothers, three sisters.
