A Friday morning accident in Ricohoc has claimed the life of one of those involved. First responders were dispatched to the intersection of Highways 90 and 182 just before 9:45 am for an accident with extrication underway.
While details are limited at this time, Louisiana State Police Troop I Public Information Officer Peggy Bourque has confirmed to KQKI News that one person has died in the accident. She said more information will be released pending notification of next of kin. We will update the story here once more information becomes available.
