DOTD: No Estimate on Bayou Ramos Bridge Repairs

The Louisiana Department of Transportation & Development says it is not able to give an estimated time of when the Bayou Ramos bridge on Highway 182 will reopen. The bridge was damaged by a marine vessel nearly two weeks ago. Deidra Druilhet, Public Information Officer with DOTD, said their personnel are still examining possible solutions to address repairs caused by impacts to the bridge. Until repairs are made, motorists are left with the only option of utilizing Highway 90 as an alternate route.
