BELLE ROSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Tameisha Trinette Brown, 23, of 44854 Braud Road, Sorrento, LA, on felony charges arising out of a Sunday evening domestic incident on Frank Lane in Belle Rose.
Deputies responded to a complaint on Sunday evening after receiving multiple complaints at a residence in that area.
Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the complainant, the accused, as well as multiple witnesses, whom all indicated that a domestic incident did turn physical.
At some point during this incident, Tameisha Trinette Brown is accused of striking the victim in the face with a closed fist and at one point took possession of a knife and began waving it towards the victim.
A witness stated that during the confrontation, an individual was able to wrestle the knife away from Brown. During the incident, there was a 3-year-old child present.
At the conclusion of the investigation, Tameisha Trinette Brown was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Domestic Abuse Aggravated Assault
*Domestic Abuse Battery with Child Endangerment
*Unauthorized Entry of an Inhabited Dwelling
*Simple Battery
Tameisha Trinette Brown remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
