The Morgan City Police Department is again partnering with the DEA, Walgreens Pharmacy, and Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market to allow our great citizens to dispose of all unwanted and expired prescription medication.

On Saturday April 30, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. you can go to either Walgreens Pharmacy located at 815 Brashear Avenue or Walmart Neighborhood Market located at 1002 LA 70 in Morgan City to dispose of your medication with no questions asked. Remember it is never safe to dispose of these types of medications down your drain.

The Morgan City Police Department also offers an onsite medication disposal drop box located at 723 Myrtle Street in Morgan City, LA that is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. to dispose of all unwanted medication year-round.
