Morgan City Police Chief Chad Adams tells KQKI News that City Hall on First Street has been cleared following a phone threat to the city’s answering service after City Hall had closed Thursday afternoon.  He said Morgan City Police Department received a call at approximately 4:40 pm regarding someone who allegedly called the answering service, disguised their voice and made a threat towards City Hall.  Officers responded to City Hall and have determined that it was not a credible threat and have since cleared the area.
