Chitimacha Arrest Report 3-8-2021

Chitimacha Police Chief Hal Hutchinson reports the following arrests:
On 2-18-21, Jonie Wilson, 29, Louise Street, Cameron, was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated with child endangerment, driving on shoulder, resisting an officer and battery on a police officer.  She was transported to the parish jail.  An officer responded to a traffic stop for assistance with the Baldwin Police Department.  During the investigation, it was learned Wilson was intoxicated and was arrested.
On 2-26-21, Kevin Segura, 51, Phyllis Drive, New Iberia, was arrested for possession of schedule II (Oxycodone) and an active warrant for the Chitimacha Police Department for theft.  He was transported to the parish jail.  On 2-9-21, officers responded to a Tribal business in reference to a theft.  During the investigation, it was learned Segura was involved, but had already left the premises and a warrant was issued.  On 2-26-21, Segura was located at a Tribal business and arrested on the warrant. During the arrest, illegal narcotics was found on Segura and he was arrested for the illegal narcotics.
On 3-4-21, Winda Moore, 55, Martin Luther King, Abbeville, was arrested for theft and released on a summons.  On 9-20-20, officers responded to a Tribal business in reference to a theft.  During the investigation, it was learned Moore was involved, but had already left the premises and a warrant was issued.  On 3-4-21, Moore was located at a Tribal business and was arrested on the warrant.
On 3-5-21, Sean Bowling, 40, Blue Haven Drive, New Iberia, was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and speeding.  He was transported to the parish jail.  An officer observed a vehicle traveling a high rate of speed and conducted a traffic stop.  During the traffic stop, it was learned Bowling was intoxicated and was arrested.
On 3-5-21, Cheryl Sellers, 64, Pelican Road, Erath, was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and reckless operation of a vehicle.  She was transported to the parish jail.  Officers responded to a Tribal business in reference to a single vehicle accident.  During the investigation, it was learned Sellers was intoxicated and was arrested.
