St. Mary Parish Superintendent of Schools tells KQKI News that authorities are investigating a bomb threat at Franklin High School. The Franklin Fire Department was dispatched to the school Friday morning at 10:20 am and the school has been evacuated.
Acadian Ambulance is on standby and Franklin Police Department and St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office are also on scene. The investigation is in its early stages and we will release more information when it becomes available.
