Boil Water Advisory Issued for Assumption Parish

The Assumption Parish Waterworks District No. 1 has issued a Boil Water Advisory for all of Assumption Parish. The district said the precautionary advisory is due to pressure falling under 20 PSI throughout may areas of the parish. There is a large water leak on a 14″main water line in the Napoleonville area. We will update the story as more information becomes available.
