President Joe Biden announced on Sunday afternoon that he is ending his campaign for a second term. Biden released a statement announcing his decision to withdraw from the presidential race. The Democratic Party will begin the process of replacing Biden with a nominee at next month’s Democratic National Convention in Chicago. Biden also announced that he is supporting Vice President Kamala Harris as the nominee to face former President Donald Trump in the November 5th election.
