Clifton Williams B/M 30 of Morgan City was arrested on August 9,2023 at 5:43 PM for
- POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA (UNDER 14 GRAMS)
On August 9,2023 at approximately 5:31 PM a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle after a traffic violation was observed. Officers made contact with the driver of the vehicle who was identified as Williams. While speaking with Williams, a strong odor of Marijuana was detected coming from the vehicle. A search was conducted at which time Marijuana was located inside. Williams was placed under arrest and later released on a summons to appear in court for the charge of Possession of Marijuana (Under 14 Grams).
