Belle River Man Charged with Aggravated Assault with a Firearm

BELLE RIVERAssumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Todd Christopher Doiron, 60, of 938B Belle River Road, Pierre Part, LA, on felony charges arising out of a complaint in Belle River on Monday evening.

Deputies responded to a complaint of a disturbance between neighbors at which time Todd Christopher Doiron had allegedly brandished a firearm. Deputies spoke to all parties involved.

Deputies also retrieved video evidence of Todd Christopher Doiron with a shotgun he retrieved from his home after the initial confrontation. Deputies did recover the firearm.

Todd Christopher Doiron was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Aggravated Assault with a Firearm

Todd Christopher Doiron was incarcerated and released on a $10,000 bond.
