Barry Thibodeaux, a man of remarkable kindness and generosity, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023. He was a man of pride, whose love and care for his family and friends knew no bounds. Barry held his close relationships in the highest regard, demonstrating a deep and unwavering devotion to those he held dear.

A service and gathering of friends and family will be held in Barry’s honor on Friday, October 6th, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ibert’s Mortuary in Patterson, Louisiana.

A master of the outdoors, Barry’s talents in hunting and fishing were unparalleled. He found solace and joy in the embrace of nature, reveling in its beauty and bounty. A dedicated gardener, he took pleasure in providing nourishment for those around him, embodying the spirit of selfless giving.

In moments of leisure, Barry could be found enjoying a spirited game of pool, showcasing his skill and competitive spirit. He lived by the words of Matthew 5:14-16, letting his light shine before others through his acts of kindness and goodwill, exemplifying the values that he held dear.

Barry was survived by his loving wife, Renee DeHart; his children, Sherie Pullin and her husband Robin, Shayne Landry; his siblings Keith Thibodeaux and his wife Lisa, Michael Thibodeaux and his wife Pam; as well as a host of extended family and friends whom he loved dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Pat Thibodeaux; his brother,Thomas Patrick Thibodeaux.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert’s Mortuary in Patterson, Louisiana.
