BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon says he is pleased to report that members of his staff recently participated in the “Back to School Giveaway” event at the Bayou L’Ourse Community Center.
The event provided school supplies that were donated by local businesses and elected officials to students for their use during the 2024 – 2025 school year, which begins on Wednesday, August 7, for Assumption Parish Schools.
Sheriff Falcon thanked all who contributed to the great cause and wishes students the best in the new school year.
