The Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office reports the following arrest(s):
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Stasha M. Juno, 46, of 2615 North Causeway Boulevard, Apartment F129, Mandeville, LA, on a warrant charging her with Failure to Appear in Court in Assumption Parish on charges of Domestic Abuse Battery.
Stasha M. Juno was previously arrested in connection with a domestic incident. As a result of that arrest, Juno was ordered to appear in court on June 13, 2022, and failed to do so. A warrant for Juno’s arrest for Failure to Appear was issued on June 14, 2022.
Stasha M. Juno was arrested by the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office on October 9, 2022. She was transferred and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on Tuesday and remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrests of Joseph Hiram Desmond Clark, 31, of 2996 Highway 1, Labadieville, LA, and Kristen Dena Duplechien, 36, of 155 Lily Street, Thibodaux, LA, on felony drug charges arising out of the execution of a search warrant at a residence located at the aforementioned address in Labadieville, LA.
As part of an ongoing narcotics investigation, narcotics agents developed information that Joseph Hiram Desmond Clark was trafficking in illegal narcotics including from the moveable residence at 2996 Highway 1.
Agents secured probable cause to apply for a search warrant which was granted.
On Tuesday, agents converged on the location and executed the search warrant which resulted in the seizure of illegal narcotics. As agents approached, the suspects attempted to flush illegal drugs through the toiletry system. Agents were able to recover some of the flushed items.
Joseph Hiram Desmond Clark and Kristen Dena Duplechien were both arrested.
Joseph Hiram Desmond Clark was booked on charges of:
*Possession of Methamphetamine
*Possession of Marijuana
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Kristen Dena Duplechien was booked on charges of:
*Obstruction of Justice
*Possession of Marijuana
*Possession of Methamphetamine
Joseph Hiram Desmond Clark and Kristen Dena Duplechien remains incarcerated pending bond hearings.
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Nakita Vandell Breaux, 34, of 161 Marshall Lane, Napoleonville, LA, on felony domestic abuse charges arising out of a disturbance on Monday evening.
Deputies were dispatched to the residence on Marshall Lane and made contact with all parties involved. Deputies interviewed all witnesses as well as the victim and he suspect, now identified as Nakita Vandell Breaux.
Deputies were able to determine that at some point, there was an argument that erupted which turned physical. During the confrontation, Nakita Vandell Breaux allegedly struck two females causing minor injuries to both. The two victims were treated and released by Acadian Ambulance personnel.
Nakita Vandell Breaux was arrested late Monday and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Domestic Abuse Battery with Child Endangerment – 2 Counts
Nakita Vandell Breaux remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
PAINCOURTVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Charles R. Fair, 37, of 6500 Highway 1, Belle Rose, LA, arising out of a domestic incident this past Sunday.
Deputies were dispatched to a domestic related complaint and made contact with a female victim.
The victim advised that she had taken her children to a recreational outing and at the conclusion of the event she headed home. On the way home, the victim advised that she picked up her domestic partner, Charles R. Fair and drove towards the family home at 6500 Highway 1, Belle Rose.
While enroute home, the suspect, now identified as Charles R. Fair, became enraged and at some point, struck the victim in the mouth causing her injuries.
At the time of this incident, there were two young children present.
At the conclusion of the investigation, deputies requested arrest warrants for Charles R. Fair.
Charles R. Fair was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on Monday on charges of:
*Domestic Abuse Battery with Child Endangerment – 2 Counts
*Parole Violator Detainer
Charles R. Fair remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing on the domestic abuse charges.
Fair was ordered held without bond on the parole violator detainer.
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Anthony James Ewell, 58, of 3372 Back Marais Street, Napoleonville, LA, on multiple charges arising from a disturbance south of Napoleonville, LA on Monday.
Deputies were dispatched to the location and made contact with the complainant / victim. Deputies were advised that Anthony James Ewell was throwing bricks at her home. Additional units were dispatched when the first arriving deputy radioed that he was involved in a physical confrontation with a suspect, now identified as Anthony James Ewell. While deputies were present, they witnessed verbal threats toward the complainant as well as her residence.
Anthony James Ewell allegedly struck the deputy during the confrontation.
Deputies were able to arrest Ewell.
Based on witness accounts, physical evidence and home security footage, Anthony James Ewell was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Terrorizing
*Simple Assault
*Criminal Mischief
*Resisting an Officer
*Battery of a Police Officer
Anthony James Ewell remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
