Funeral services for Anne Lanclos Landry will be held Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Baldwin during an 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial. Following the Mass, she will be laid to rest in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Father Michael DeBlanc will be the Celebrant for the Mass and conduct the services.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday at the church beginning at 10:00 AM until time of Mass.
Anne was born at home in Centerville on April 14, 1944 and was the eldest of six children born to the union of Clarence and Clarice Lanclos. She passed away at the age of 79 in the early morning hours of Friday, Nov. 17, 2023 at her home in Baldwin, where she has been a resident of for the past 59 years.
Those she leaves to cherish her memory include four children; Karen Landry, Rita Luke, Amy Simoneaux and her husband Andy, Alwin Landry and his wife Donna; her grandchildren, Brad Luke, Blaze Landry and his wife Lara, Breeze Simoneaux, Kaleb Thibodeaux, Alex Landry and his wife Lacy, and Courtney Landry; her great grandchildren, Axel and Jax Landry; one sister, Barbara Hebert and her husband Jackie; two brothers, Steve Lanclos and his wife Judy and Mark Lanclos; her brother-in-law, Glen Stroud; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends whom she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Marion “Squirt” Landry; her parents, Clarence Lee Lanclos and Clarice Ladouceur Lanclos; two sisters, Nancy Lanclos and Holly Stroud; her son-in-law, Brian Luke; her mother-in-law, Amy B. Landry; and her brother-in-law, Michael Landry.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Bridgeway Hospice for their loving and compassionate care given to Anne over the past two years.
