With the exception of Aucoin Elementary in Amelia, Louisiana, the St. Mary Parish School System will resume normal operations on Monday, September 16, 2024. St. Mary Parish School Superintendent Buffy Feganbush said, “We understand that electricity may still be a concern for some families, and that school uniforms might not be readily available. In such cases, students are encouraged to attend and wear school-appropriate clothing.”
The St. Mary Parish School System will be working with local organizations to assist families as much as possible during this time. We respect any decisions you may need to make and are here to support you. If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact your school site.
