Berwick High School announced Lianne Albert-Seumanu as the Head Softball Coach. Lianne is currently the head volleyball coach and has been an assistant softball coach for the last four seasons under Coach Joe Russo. She is a BHS graduate of the class of 2004 where she was a part of the 2003 3A softball state championship team. Following a successful high school career where she was a Wendy’s High School Heisman representative for BHS, a 4-year starter, and a 4-year selection for the all-district and all-state teams, Coach Lianne played softball at Louisiana Tech University where she caught and played third base.

“I am thrilled to be the next head coach of a program that has such a rich tradition of success both on and off the field. Some of my favorite high school memories were representing Berwick High on the softball field and being coached by Coach Burchfield. It’s been a great learning experience coaching under Coach Russo, and I’m looking forward to continuing to build on the success that we’ve had over the last four seasons.”
