Two male victims are recovering after an overnight shooting in Patterson. Patterson Police Chief Garrett Grogan told KQKI News that an officer was patrolling Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard at approximately 2:30 a.m. Sunday when the officer discovered two men suffering from gunshot wounds. Grogan said victims were airlifted to an out-of-area hospital and injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.
Grogan said investigators have not yet been able to interview the victims, and no suspects have been identified. He added that he does not believe the shooting was connected to the Patterson High School Alumni Picnic held Saturday. Grogan said the picnic “went perfectly.”
The investigation remains ongoing. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
