On September 5, 2025 at approximately 0153 hours, the Jeanerette Police Department received a call of an armed robbery in the 1800 block of St Charles Street. Through the course of the investigation, the suspect was identified as Quentin Thompson Jr., 21 of New Iberia. A warrant was then issued for Thompson’s arrest in reference to the armed robbery.
On September 11, 2025, at approximately 2100 hours, Quentin Thompson Jr was located in the 400 block of Ira Street and arrested. Thompson was transported to the Jeanerette Police Department and booked on 1 count of Armed Robbery, 1 count of Armed Robbery Use of a Firearm, and 1 count of Home Invasion.
Thompson was transported and booked into the Iberia Parish Jail on September 14, 2025, on said charges. Quentin Thompson is now being held on a $400,000 bond.
