St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 59 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Danayre Elizabeth Smith, 30, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on August 19, 2025, at 7:21 pm on three warrants for failure to appear for criminal trespassing, resisting an officer and simple battery. Bail has not been set at this time.
Devin Michael Leblanc, 24, Berwick, LA, was arrested on August 20, 2025, at 1:37 am on a warrant for neglect of family. Bail has not been set at this time.
Cory James Leblanc, 44, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on August 19, 2025, at 10:03 pm for violation of protective orders. Bail has not been set at this time.
