The Franklin Police Department responded to 39 calls for service over the past holiday weekend and made the following arrests:
Juvenile was arrested on April 17, 2025, at 10:15 AM, on the charge of disturbing the peace by fighting.
Landon Fontenot, 23, of Lormand Rd., Scott, LA, was arrested on April 17, 2025, at 3:44 PM, on the charge of speeding. Fontenot was booked, processed, and released on an $868.00 bond.
Juvenile was arrested on April 17, 2025, at 4:59 PM, on the charge of simple assault.
Tyrone Weber, 41, of Kerry Ln., Charenton, LA, was arrested on April 17, 2025, at 7:29 PM, on the charges of aggravated obstruction of a highway of commerce, driving on roadway laned for traffic, operating a vehicle while license is suspended, aggravated flight from an officer, possession of alcoholic beverages in motor vehicle, possession of schedule I narcotics (marijuana and MDMA) with intent to distribute – 2 counts, possession of schedule II narcotics (crack cocaine and methamphetamine) – 2 counts, stop sign violation – 2 counts, and turn signals. Weber was additionally arrested on a warrant for 16th Judicial District Court for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. Weber was booked, processed, and held on a $137,500.00 bond.
Christopher Hawkins, 57, of Navarro St., Charenton, LA, was arrested on April 17, 2025, at 7:29 PM, on the charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of alcoholic beverage in motor vehicle, possession of schedule I narcotics (marijuana and MDMA) with intent to distribute – 2 counts, and possession of schedule II narcotics (crack cocaine and methamphetamine) – 2 counts. Hawkins was booked, processed, and held on a $37,000.00 bond.
Anastasia Jack, 37, of Gabriel St., Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on April 18, 2025, at 12:34 PM, on the charge of disturbing the peace by fighting. Jack was booked, processed, and released on a $535.00 bond.
Juvenile was arrested on April 18, 2025, at 12:43 PM, on the charge of disturbing the peace by fighting.

Lani Whittington, 21, of Weldon St., New Iberia, LA, was arrested on April 20, 2025, at 8:30 PM, on the charge of disturbing the peace by fighting. Whittington was booked, processed, and held on a $750.00 bond.
Skyla Butler, 25, of Iberia St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on April 20, 2025, at 8:30 PM, on the charge of disturbing the peace by fighting. Butler was booked, processed, and released on a $1,000.00 bond.
