St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Recieves AEDs

Sheriff Gary Driskell has been leading the SMPSO to 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒌 𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒃𝒐𝒙 in finding new ways to serve our community more efficiently and effectively. Thanks to funds made available from an opioid lawsuit, we secured 𝟑𝟐 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐄𝐱𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 (𝐀𝐄𝐃𝐬) 𝐭𝐨 𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐩 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐬 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐚𝐬 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐥𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲!

As first responders, our deputies are often the first on the scene when someone is experiencing a medical emergency. In those critical moments before EMS arrives, these AEDs can help us 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗶𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘀.
