On October 9, 2024, officers responded to several calls reporting multiple gunshots in the 400 Block of Engeron Street. Upon arrival, officers located approximately 25 spent casings near a residence. It was learned that stray bullets struck two vehicles and a residence, resulting in one minor injury.
This incident is still in the early stages of investigation.
Following further investigation, warrants were filed for:
• Jayden Woods (B/M, DOB 12/30/03) for 1 count of 14:94.1 Illegal Use of a Weapon (Felony) and 1 count of 14:56 Aggravated Criminal Damage to Property (Felony).
• Keshon Taylor (B/M, DOB 12/14/04) for the same charges.
