St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 41 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Brandie Lynn Jones, 39, Houston, TX, was arrested on August 15, 2024, at 7:42 pm for possession of methamphetamines, possession drug paraphernalia, and possession of legend drug without prescription (2 counts).
Jones also held two Terrebonne Sheriff’s Office warrants for failure to appear on the followin charges:
- Possession of schedule II CDS
- Operating a vehicle with an unlit license plate
- Operating an unregistered vehicle and/or vehicle without proper number plates
- Operating a vehicle without proof of insurance.
Bail has not been set at this time for the SMPSO charges and a hold has been placed on Jones for another agency.
