Jorge Saenz H/M 29 of Amelia was arrested on August 6, 2024 at 4:42 PM for
- HIT AND RUN
- UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF FRAUDULENT DOCUMENTS
On August 6, 2024 at approximately 2:19 PM the Berwick Police Department received a call of a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of US Hwy. 90 and Thorguson Dr. Upon arrival, it was learned that the driver of one of the vehicles, fled on foot. A description of the subject was given and officers began searching for the subject. After some time, the subject was located in the wooded area. He was taken into custody where he was found to be in possession of fraudulent identification documents. Saenz was transported to the Berwick Police Department where he was booked on the above charges.

Kane Dupre W/M 19 of Bourg was arrested on August 7,2024 at 5:10 PM for
- SPEEDING 79/60
- DRIVING UNDER SUSPENSION
On August 7,2024 at approximately 5:09 PM a vehicle was observed speeding 79 in a 60 MPH zone on US Hwy. 90. A traffic stop was conducted at which time, the driver and passenger were observed switching seating positions. Officers made contact with Dupre and learned that his driver’s license was suspended. Dupre was placed under arrest and transported to the Berwick Police Department where he was booked on the above charges.
