Berwick Police Chief David Leonard reports the following arrests:
Jaquan Gray B/M 19 of Patterson was arrested on January 16,2024 at 3:50 PM for
- WARRANT- AGGRAVATED BATTERY OF A DATING PARTNER (CHILD ENDANGERMENT)
- WARRANT- CYBERSTALKING
On January 11, 2024 the Berwick Police Department received a complaint of a domestic abuse situation that had been taking place between Gray and a victim over the last several weeks. The victim advised that on several occasions in the recent past, a battery was committed by Gray and threats were being made via social media. Through officers’ investigation, evidence was obtained linking Gray to the offense. Warrants were obtained for his arrest and on January 16, 2024 he was located at his residence in Patterson by the St. Mary Parish Sheriffs Office. Gray was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement, where he was later transported to the Berwick Police Department for booking on the above warrants.
