Michael Joseph Landry Sr., a resident of Patterson, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2023 at the age 76.
Michael is survived by four sons, Michael Landry Jr., Chris Landry, Jeff Landry, and Jason Landry; two brothers, Jerry and Merval Landry; two sisters, Alice Faye Person, and Mary Grace Verret; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Barr Landry; his parents; eight brothers, Perry, Wade, Charles, Louis, Dudley, Douglas, Dickie, and Sherald “Bozo” Landry; and two sisters, Betty Buras and Judith Rhodes.
The family requests that a time of visitation and remembrance be observed on Friday, September 29, 2023 from 9am until time of services with a rosary being prayed at 11:30am at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Bayou Vista. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Michael on Friday, September 29, 2023 at 12 noon at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Bayou Vista with Michael being laid to rest in the Berwick Cemetery following services. Father Thainese Alphonse will officiate the services.
