St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 28 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Don Terry Bennett Jr., 35, Patterson, LA, was arrested on September 13, 2023, at 10:35 am on five warrants for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. Bail has been set at $107,852.50.
All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
