FRANKLIN, LA – September 5, 2023. Bayou Bend Health System is pleased to announce the addition of Taylor Desormeaux Phillippi, MD as the newest Family Medicine physician joining the BBHS medical staff in mid-September.
Dr. Phillippi, a native of South Louisiana, received her Bachelor of Science from Louisiana State University and her Doctor of Medicine from Ross University School of Medicine. She completed her residency program at Ochsner University Hospital & Clinics LSUHSC New Orleans, and she is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and of the American College of Physicians.
“Dr. Phillippi is the first female Family Practice physician in West St. Mary in many years, and we are excited to welcome her to our medical staff,” said Stephanie Guidry, CEO of Bayou Bend Health System. “She will be seeing all patients from pediatrics to seniors, and we believe she will be a wonderful addition to our team.”
Dr. Phillippi will begin seeing patients on Monday, September 18, 2023. Her office will be located in Suite B inside the Medical Office Building next to the hospital at 200 Medical Drive in Franklin, LA. New patients are welcome.
