The Franklin Police Department responded to 11 complaints over the past 24 hours and made the following arrests:
Randolph Joseph, 31, of Third St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on August 1, 2023, at 6:36 AM, on the charges of disturbing the peace, remaining where forbidden, and resisting an officer with force. Joseph was booked, processed, and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Joseph Thomas, 61, of Myra St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on August 1, 2023, at 5:45 PM, on a warrant for Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charges of disturbing the peace intoxicated and simple criminal damage to property. Thomas was additionally arrested on the charges of possession of schedule II narcotics (cocaine) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Thomas was booked, processed, and held with no bond set at the time of press release.
