The Franklin Police Department responded to 22 complaints over the past weekend and made the following arrests:
Damenn Stansbury, 53, of SJ Ln., Franklin, LA, was arrested on December 12, 2021, at 12:41 AM, on a warrant for theft and a warrant for 16th Judicial District Court for failure to appear on the charges of possession of schedule II CDS and obstruction of justice by tampering with evidence. Stansbury was booked, processed, and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Mario Castellanos, 48, of Anderson St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on December 12, 2021, at 7:38 PM, on the charge of domestic abuse battery. Castellanos was additionally arrested on a warrant for probation violation. Castellanos was booked, processed, and held on a $3,500.00 bond.
