On the evening of March 7th, officers with the Morgan City Police Department responded to the area of Hwy 182 regarding a fight. Officers arrived when they learned that a victim potentially stabbed during the altercation. The victim was immediately transported to a local medical facility where they were treated for injuries.
During the investigation, Anthony Javonte Harris was developed as a suspect in the altercation. It was learned that Harris fled the scene. A warrant for Aggravated Battery was obtained for Harrisโs arrest. ๐๐ง๐ญ๐ก๐จ๐ง๐ฒ ๐๐๐ฏ๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ is described as a ๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ค ๐ฆ๐๐ฅ๐, ๐โ๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ ๐ฅ๐๐ฌ.
