A Thursday afternoon accident on Highway 90 near Bayou L’Ourse has resulted in a fatality. According to preliminary reports, a vehicle traveling on Highway 90 eastbound went over the railing on the elevated portion of the highway, and reportedly flipped into the bayou below.
Highway 90 eastbound was closed for several hours as crews recovered the vehicle. Louisiana State Police Troop C Public Information Officer Ross Brennan told KQKI News on Thursday evening that the accident involved a fatality and other injuries. Brennan said he expects to release more information Friday morning once he receives more details.
